The Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Step by Step Interventions, you will:

- Complete Functional Capacity Assessments and prepare comprehensive reports

- Conduct Assistive Technology assessments and develop recommendations

- Assess and recommend home modifications to enhance safety, accessibility and independence

- Support clients to develop functional daily living skills and greater independence

- Deliver individual and group-based interventions





- Provide coaching and support to families, carers and support teams

- Prepare reports for NDIS reviews, funding requests and recommendations

- Collaborate closely with psychologists, behaviour analysts and Allied Health Assistants

- Develop intervention programs and provide clinical guidance to Allied Health Assistants delivering supports under your supervision

- Participate in regular supervision, peer review and professional development opportunities

About You

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who:

- Has experience working with people with disabilities

- Has experience completing, or a strong interest in developing skills in, Functional Capacity Assessments

- Has experience with, or a robust interest in, Assistive Technology and home modifications

- Enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Is confident building relationships with families, carers and support networks

- Values evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

- Is passionate about helping people improve independence, participation and quality of life

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

- Current AHPRA registration

- Working With Children Check

- National Police Check

- Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
