About the role

The role is commercially focused, hands on role that owns SuperAPI's revenue operations and day to day finance function end to end. Think of it as a mini CFO and COO. The core of the job is commercial. You will own the revenue numbers, the fund budgets, pricing, and the models behind new deals, and make sure what we sign actually works in the business. Around that you will run the finance engine that keeps everything moving, from accounts and payroll through to reporting, investor materials and contracts, and you will get involved in customer management and support too.

The role works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and takes on much of the workload currently sitting with them, freeing the CFO to focus on broader strategy. It suits someone commercial and curious who likes getting into the details and wants genuine breadth.

Key responsibilities

- Own revenue operations end to end, including the fund budget process, managing spend against budget and when products and events are switched on and off across funds
- Own revenue tracking and assurance, making sure every event is billed correctly and partner revenue share is accurate
- Set revenue and volume targets and manage the commission structure
- Own the monthly revenue numbers and KPIs, understanding what drives them and where we are heading
- Model new deals and pricing structures, pressure test assumptions, and catch commercial gotchas before we sign
- Build reusable models for super funds and channel partners that help the sales team win new business
- Build and maintain the whole of business three statement forecast, a driver based model producing the profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow monthly
- Build agile, self updating dashboards for partners and internal stakeholders, harnessing our reporting tool Metabase
- Produce management and board reporting on revenue, expenses and cashflow
- Own the day to day finance function including accounts, cashflow, reconciliations, payroll,

About you

- Extremely strong commercial and financial modelling skills, including three statement modelling, new business modelling and pricing
- A strong commercial mindset with a real grasp of unit economics, pricing, revenue share and margin analysis
- Comfortable using data tools and AI to build dynamic reports and dashboards, with experience in Metabase or similar a massive advantage
- CA or CPA qualified with a strong accounting foundation across the full finance cycle, including accounts, payroll, reconciliations, reporting and month end
- Happy to wear multiple hats and work hands on in a fast paced startup environment
- High attention to detail and a security first mindset when handling sensitive data
- Legal entitlement to work in Australia
