About the role

As a Solar & Battery Sales Consultant with SolarWide, you'll work with homeowners and businesses to understand their energy usage, goals and budget, then recommend the right solar and battery solution for their needs.

Uncapped earning potential with option for Commission only, or can do base salary + smaller commission.

Key responsibilities

- Meeting with customers and understanding their energy requirements

- Assessing existing solar systems and identifying opportunities for upgrades

- Designing and recommending suitable solar PV and battery storage solutions

- Providing professional advice on energy usage, solar generation, battery storage and system sizing

- Preparing accurate quotes and proposals

- Following up leads and managing customers throughout the sales process

- Building robust customer relationships and generating referrals

- Working closely with our installation and operations teams

- Keeping up to date with the latest solar, battery and energy storage technologies

- Helping customers understand how they can reduce their energy costs and increase their energy independence

About you

- Driven, ambitious and self-motivated

- Experienced in solar sales,



battery sales, renewable energy or a related industry

- Technically minded and confident discussing solar and battery systems

- Professional, reliable and customer-focused

- Comfortable working independently and managing their own pipeline

- A strong communicator who can build trust with customers

- Interested in the future of renewable energy and energy storage

- Electrical experience is highly regarded
