You will work alongside an amazing team of early childhood educators, with the opportunity to educate our future generation. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and guide a team of educators to provide exceptional learning experiences for children aged 3 to 5 years
- Develop the Children's Program, reflecting the Early Years Learning Framework
- Maintain observations and records of each child's progress
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community, and keep families informed about day-to-day happenings
- Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, and implement the service's philosophy in all duties
About you
- An early childhood teaching qualification recognised by ACECQA
- Experience working within an early childhood setting
- A current NSW Working with Children Check, and a National Police Check if requested
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training,
and completed current training in child protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- An excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
- A calm and caring manner who can stay steady on busy days, and who values honesty, reliability and respecting the privacy of families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach to teamwork
- A strong understanding of the importance of family communication and a commitment to the holistic development of every child
- Educational Leader experience is desired
