First Line Engineering is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our structural steel fabrication team based in Yatala.

This role involves transporting fabricated structural steel from our workshop to construction sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Loading and unloading fabricated structural steel and associated materials

- Securing loads correctly and safely for transport

- Delivering steel to construction sites and coordinating with site crews for unloading

- Ensuring loads are checked against delivery requirements prior to leaving the workshop

- Completing pre-starts and maintaining the truck in a clean and safe condition

- Assisting around the workshop/loading areas when required





- Following all site, transport and company safety requirements

What We're Looking For

Essential:

- Current HR Driver Licence

- Previous experience loading, securing and unloading structural steel

- Strong understanding of load restraint and safe transport practices

- Experience delivering to active construction sites

- Positive communication and time-management skills

- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently

Experience within the structural steel, fabrication or construction industry will be highly regarded.
