Executive Assistant / Office Manager
Bathurst NSW | Full-Time
Our client is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Executive Assistant / Office Manager to join their team in Bathurst. In the role you will be responsible for the seamless day-to-day operation of the office, while providing executive support, office coordination, and administrative assistance across the organisation.
Working closely with the CEO and broader team, you will play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently, managing priorities, and supporting exceptional service delivery. About the Role
As the Executive Assistant / Office Manager, you will provide a combination of exceptional organisational skills with a genuine commitment to the organisation's purpose. You will bring empathy, discretion, and a passion for delivering meaningful outcomes for the communities they serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing executive and administrative support to the CEO.
- Managing calendars, meetings, and meeting logistics.
- Managing and troubleshooting IT-related issues to minimise disruptions to business operations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement and undertake initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Preparing reports, documents, and meeting papers consistently prior to deadlines.
- Taking and distributing meeting minutes.
- Managing an office environment and reception duties.
- Coordinating communications on behalf of the CEO and wider team across multiple locations.
- Assisting with financial administration, record keeping, and business support activities.
- Fleet and facility management support, maintaining the asset register and assisting with annual insurance renewals.
- Liaising with the Board, senior stakeholders, and external contacts.
- Assisting the team with ad hoc projects and events as required.
- Comply with all Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
About You
We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years' experience providing executive assistant or high-level administrative support to senior leaders and/or leadership teams.
- Deliver empathetic, approachable customer service that reflects the organisation's vision, purpose, and values.
- Discretion and sound judgement when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Calm, resilient and proven capability to work effectively under various conditions.
Desirable
- Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Administration or Finance.
- Experience in supporting a team and working with volunteers.
Requirements
- National Criminal Record Check (or ability to obtain).
- Working With Children Check (where required).
- Current Australian working rights.
- Current Driver's Licence.
