About You
- Located in or near Camellia
- Minimum 3 years' payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
- Experience working with an outsourced payroll provider model will be highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of payroll processes, legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience working with SAP (SAP Central and SAP HRIS)
- Ability to work from the Camellia site full time – This is not a Work from Home Role

About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, you will be one of the key contacts for payroll-related enquiries across the business.
As Payroll Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing the relationship and information flow between Knauf and our outsourced payroll provider. This role supports the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 600 employees across Australia, ensuring wages and salaries are processed accurately and within agreed timeframes, in line with relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislative requirements.
Some tasks as part of this role include:
- Act as the key liaison between the business and the outsourced payroll provider
- Assist in the completion of one monthly and three weekly payroll cycles, including reconciliations and corrections where required
- Process workers’ compensation payments for approved claims and liaise with insurers as needed
- Maintain accurate payroll and employee records, including leave, payroll changes and overtime
- Assist in defining and maintaining processes for timesheet data archiving, external party payments, and tax and workers’ compensation reconciliations
- Support compliance with PayDay Super requirements
