· implement changes that benefit children birth to 13 years-of-age and their families

· monitor and promote the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories

· support the early childhood education and care sector to improve quality outcomes for children

The Role

The Support Facilitator, Quality Support Program will focus on developing and delivering tailored professional learning and support to children’s education and care services. Professional learning and support will be designed and delivered to support the building of each service’s capability to meet or exceed the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Children’s Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations. The Support Facilitator, Quality Support Program will also build and maintain culturally safe, collaborative, effective and genuine relationships with identified services and other relevant stakeholders to gain buy-in and commitment and to achieve program outcomes.

This role is full-time and fixed term to 30 June 2027 at ACECQA Band 5 ($106,584 - $126,066).

The key duties of the position include:

Key Accountabilities

· Through the use of professional learning and support approaches, including goal setting, service visits, coaching techniques, workshops and webinars work directly with NSW children’s education and care services to meet or exceed the NQS and/or the National Law and Regulations.

· Build and maintain collaborative, effective,



genuine and culturally secure professional relationships with education and care services to identify and implement quality improvement goals, increase program participation and engagement and achieve program outcomes.

· Work cooperatively and collaboratively within the QSP and LQRS teams, and across ACECQA, to achieve the identified objectives and results.

· In collaboration with the Quality Support Program Managers, support the development and delivery of engaging, relevant and culturally safe professional learning materials for webinars, communities of practice, workshops, resources, meetings, and other activities as needed to support outcomes and engagement.

· Ensure program related documentation is developed, accurate, managed and stored to comply with all ACECQA policies and procedures, timelines and stakeholder expectations.

· Capture and actively report on participation and engagement data, develop reports and respond to regular and urgent requests for information as required.

· Conduct, deliver and assist with organising travel, service visits, meetings, workshops, webinars and/or events located across NSW as required by the project schedule and plans.

· Adhere to ACECQA’s policies, procedures and Code of Conduct and demonstrate behaviours that support the building of an inclusive and agile performance culture and act ethically and professionally in accordance with ACECQA’s values of Integrity, Commitment, Respect and Collaboration.

· Other duties as required.

Eligibility

Key Selection Criteria

· Demonstrated experience in and contemporary knowledge of professional learning and support approaches within the children’s education and care sector.

· Strong knowledge of and extensive experience in delivering children’s education and care, the National Quality Framework and embedding quality improvement outcomes and compliance with legislation.

· Developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to research and interpret information and communicate effectively across a diverse range of audiences, including developing and delivering presentations, resources and online learning.





· Proven ability to develop collaborative, positive and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with confidence to support program outcomes.

· Demonstrated ability to use a range of technologies and learn new systems quickly and efficiently.
