Registered Architect / Project Lead

The team are seeking experienced Registered Architect who can confidently lead projects across the full lifecycle from early design and client engagement through documentation, approvals and construction.

The Role

This is a senior, hands-on position for an architect who is comfortable taking ownership of projects and delivering them independently. You will lead a diverse mix of residential and commercial work, including:

- Complex multi-residential and Class 2 developments
- High-end single dwellings
- Workplace interiors
- Hospitality, café and office fit-outs
- Healthcare and medical projects

The team already has strong technical capability within the team, so this appointment is particularly suited to someone with confidence in design, sound judgement and the ability to develop strong architectural outcomes while ensuring projects are delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead projects independently from concept design through to completion
- Develop and communicate strong design concepts
- Manage project programs, deliverables and consultant coordination
- Prepare and oversee design, development application, construction and tender documentation
- Maintain design intent throughout documentation and construction
- Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams




- Provide clear direction and mentorship to architects and designers
- Manage competing priorities across multiple projects
- Identify and resolve design, technical and construction challenges
- Maintain high standards of quality, compliance and documentation
- Build trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders

What you will bring:

- Strong architectural design skills and design confidence
- Proven full-lifecycle project delivery experience
- Proficiency in Archicad
- Experience across residential, multi-residential or commercial projects
- A sound understanding of Australian building codes, planning requirements and construction processes
- Strong consultant coordination and documentation skills
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills

Experience delivering complex Class 2 or multi-residential projects would be highly regarded.
