SPRAY TECHNICIAN – LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE

Casual to Full-Time | Western Suburbs Depot

Volley Recruit is seeking experienced Spray Technicians to join an established landscaping maintenance crew.

This is specifically a Spray Technician / Chemical Application role — we are looking for candidates with previous experience in chemical spraying, weed control and vegetation management, rather than general landscaping experience alone.

THE ROLE

Based from a Western Suburbs depot, you will travel with the crew in company trucks to various sites across Adelaide.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Chemical spraying and herbicide application
- Weed control and vegetation management
- Targeted chemical application across commercial and public areas
- Accurate chemical mixing and application in accordance with procedures
- Maintaining spray equipment and reporting any issues
- Completing required spray records and documentation
- General vegetation maintenance as required
- Working safely around the public, crews and site environments
- Following strict WHS and chemical handling procedures

ABOUT YOU

We are specifically looking for an experienced Spray Technician / Chemical Applicator with:

- Proven experience in chemical spraying and weed control




- Current chemical accreditation / certification – e.g. ChemCert, AHCCHM307 or equivalent
- Previous experience in vegetation management, horticulture, grounds maintenance or similar
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong understanding of safe chemical handling and application
- Valuable attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a crew

Please note: This is not a general landscaping labouring position. Previous chemical spraying / weed control experience and the relevant chemical qualification are highly desirable.
