Are you an experienced Wall & Ceiling Supervisor? Or come from a trade background in residential plasterboard and are ready to step into supervision?
Either way, we want to hear from you.
SP Ceilings is one of the Scott Park Group’s integrated companies, responsible for the wall and ceiling lining installations across the Group’s award-winning residential building brands.
We’re looking for an experienced Wall & Ceiling Lining tradesperson to join our team as a Supervisor, overseeing residential construction projects across the Mandurah to Busselton / Margaret River region.
Already have supervisory experience? Outstanding. If not, that’s okay too — we can teach you that part.
What matters is that you know the trade. You understand residential plasterboard installation, can read plans, recognise quality workmanship, solve problems on site and communicate confidently and clearly with trades and builders.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll take ownership of your allocated jobs and work closely with our trades, builders and internal operations team to keep projects moving.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supervising and coordinating Wall & Ceiling Lining trades
- Monitoring job progress, quality and workmanship
- Reading and interpreting plans
- Liaising with builders, site supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers
- Resolving day-to-day site issues
- Ensuring works meet Australian Standards,
safety requirements and SP Ceilings' quality expectations
- Coordinating materials and resources as required
These are the core functions of the existing Supervisor role across team supervision, project coordination, quality/compliance and materials.
About You
You'll have:
- Trade Certificate in Wall & Ceiling Lining
- Strong residential gyprock / plastering experience
- Good knowledge of residential construction and Australian Standards
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- White Card and current driver's licence
Supervisory experience is preferred, but not essential. If you're an experienced plasterer ready to get off the tools and take the next step, we'd like to hear from you.
Why SP Ceilings?
You'll join an established WA Wall & Ceiling Lining business with an experienced team and a strong pipeline of in-house residential projects, providing ongoing work and long-term job security.
We’re looking for someone who wants more than just their next job. We want someone who is looking for a team they can become part of, build a career with and stick around for the long haul.
If you’re looking for somewhere to settle in, grow with the business and genuinely become part of the SP Ceilings team, this could be the role for you.
Apply now and tell us about your experience in the Wall & Ceiling Lining industry.
