About our client: Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client, a well respected business based in Eight Mile Plains. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Business Partner to join their team on a 3-4 month temporary assignment, with the potential for extension or permanency.

About the role: Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will ensure end-to-end fortnightly and monthly pays are delivered accurately and on time. Your duties will include:

- Delivering end-to-end payroll processing across multiple pay cycles
- Interpreting complex Enterprise Agreements, company policies, and relevant legislation
- Managing month-end tasks including payroll tax, PAYG tax, superannuation, and deductions
- Maintaining employee records, processing onboarding, transfers, and terminations
- Investigating and resolving complex payroll processing and system issues
- Assisting with end-of-year payroll tasks, reporting, and ad hoc projects




- Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders regarding payroll queries

About you:

- 5+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience in medium to large organisations
- Experience using Chris21 or iChris is highly advantageous, otherwise large payroll system experience is essential (SAP, Aurion, Preceda, Dayforce, etc.)
- Strong understanding of leave entitlements, PAYG tax, superannuation, and payroll tax
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
