All Gen Solutions (AGS) designs, delivers and maintains power generation, electrical and hybrid energy systems for commercial, industrial and remote-site customers.

About the role

This is a newly created leadership role for AGS. We're looking for an experienced operations leader to take full ownership of AGS's day-to-day operational performance, and to bring something more than operational excellence alone. We want someone with a genuine background in managing large, complex projects, who can lift the discipline and capability of our delivery teams, and who is excited by the chance to help shape how the business runs as it continues to grow.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will initially focus on AGS's operations, with a clear path to grow into a broader general management role as the position and the business evolve.

Key responsibilities

- Operational leadership

Take full ownership of AGS's day-to-day operations, field delivery and service performance, ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes across every job.

Lead and develop the operations support team, including office management and operations support functions.

Own procurement, inventory and supplier relationship management for AGS's operational requirements.

- Project management capability

Bring structured, disciplined project management practice to AGS's larger and complex projects — improving delivery consistency, cost control and schedule performance.

Mentor the operations team in project management fundamentals, raising the overall performance of how AGS plans, resources and delivers project work.

- Cross-functional partnership

Work closely with AGS's engineering, finance,



marketing and business development functions to keep operations, delivery and commercial activity tightly aligned.

Provide regular, clear operational and commercial reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Building the operating model

Contribute directly to the design and continuous improvement of AGS's operating model, systems and processes, this role is as much about how the business operates in the future as it is about running today's operations well.

Support workforce planning, recruitment and capability-building within the wider operations team.

Represent AGS operationally with customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders as required.

About You

Significant experience in the power generation, electrical contracting, or a related engineering or construction-services sector.

A strong track record managing large, complex projects, formal project management experience or qualifications highly regarded.

Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams and lift performance, safety and delivery standards.

Commercial acumen, with the ability to balance operational delivery against business development and margin outcomes.

Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to work closely with a small executive team.

A genuine interest in helping shape how a growing group of companies operates, not just keeping the wheels turning.
