We are looking for a casual Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive rehabilitation team. 10-20hrs/week, weekend work and increased hours from December 2026 ( 30+ hrs)
Our service includes a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, as well as several day rehabilitation programs, with a diverse caseload and a solid multidisciplinary approach.
Our patients have a broad range of rehabilitation needs, including:
- Orthopaedic rehabilitation, including fractured NOFs and upper-limb fractures
- Falls and deconditioning
- Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions
- Stroke/CVA rehabilitation
- General functional and mobility rehabilitation
You’ll work alongside a supportive and experienced MDT including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants, with opportunities to develop your skills across both inpatient and day rehabilitation settings. We also have access to state of the art, Tyrotherapy, Robotic Rehab equipment (in which full training would be given to the successful applicant).
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist
- Has an interest in rehabilitation and working with a varied caseload
- Is confident working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Has good communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Is available for casual weekday shifts, with the ability to work weekends when required

Mandatory qualifications and experience:
- Degree in physiotherapy
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Current (less than 3 months) National Criminal History check (or agreement to obtain prior to commencing employment)
- Minimum 12 months experience working with inpatient and outpatients in a rehabilitation unit including gait retraining, falls prevention, equipment prescription
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with a broad case mix including stroke, general deconditioning, joint replacements, chronic pain, neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, and Stroke
- Demonstrated ability to manage a clinical caseload and provide both individualized and group therapy
Desirable but not essential:
- FIM qualification
- Experience supervising students

- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Ensuring a high standard of care is provided to patients and their families/carers
