Whether you're supporting a child to communicate, helping someone maintain independence, assisting a family through challenging circumstances or delivering specialist services, your expertise helps people achieve outcomes that matter most to them.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieves meaningful functional outcomes by partnering with clients and their carers to set, review and progress person-centred goals aligned with individual service plans and available funding.
- Improves clients’ communication, social participation and feeding outcomes through timely, evidence-based assessment, intervention and evaluation across individual and group-based settings.
- Maintains a well-managed caseload that meets service delivery targets, funding requirements,



agreed timeframes and organisational standards for safety, quality and client experience.
- Enables greater independence, participation and function by recommending appropriate assistive technology and providing clear guidance for its effective use.
- Ensures coordinated, holistic support by collaborating with families, multidisciplinary team members, health professionals and community agencies, including acting as Key Contact for allocated clients.
- Supports safe, compliant and accountable service delivery through accurate and timely client records, assessments, plans and service documentation, with risks or barriers escalated promptly.
- Strengthens clinical quality and qualified practice by maintaining current evidence-based knowledge and actively participating in supervision, professional development and clinical consultation.
- Contributes to improved client and organisational outcomes through innovation, service development, process improvement, community engagement and other reasonable duties aligned with the role.
- Represents the organisation in the community at events and forums, as required.

Essential Skills:

- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status
- Proven ability to manage a caseload and deliver timely, effective therapy
- Solid understanding of disability services, person-centred practices, and NDIS
- Excellent interpersonal, written,



and verbal communication skills
- Confident working within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong administrative and time management abilities
- Willingness to travel for client appointments
- Understanding of funding models, specifically the NDIS

Desirable Skills:

- Experience providing paediatric disability speech pathology services

Required Compliance Documents:

- National Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Valid Driver’s licence
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status
