About The Role:

The Process Technician will need to efficiently & effectively operate all functional sections of the Processing Plant in a secure manner while continuously improving work practices to achieve production targets. The Process Technicians are required to maintain high levels of plant housekeeping, monitoring equipment performance and reporting issues and defects such that overall plant utilisation is maximised.

The Process Technician works cohesively as a valuable team member of the processing crew. They will interact with cross shift teams, maintenance, metallurgical and management personnel.

Duties

- Safe and efficient operation of all areas from the crusher to the tails facilities.

- Trouble-shooting all mill/ leach/ CIP/ water services and elution processes.

- Sampling and daily inspection of the plant as required.

- Identifying and managing risks to the processing plant.





- Monitoring of the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.

- Initiate and participate in equipment handovers with Shift Supervisor and cross shift with other crew members.

- Maintain a high level of housekeeping.

- Inspect and maintain work area daily.

Role Requirements:

- Current unrestricted “C” Class WA Manual Drivers Licence (Essential)

- Satisfactory NPC clearance (Essential)

- Valid work visa, permanent residency or Australian citizenship (Essential)

- Senior First Aid Certificate (Desirable)

Skills and Experience:

- Knowledge of gold processing

- 2 to 5 years plant operator experience (Essential)

- Current unencumbered C/HR Western Australian Drivers Licence

- Mature team player with good communication skills.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using the 2 way radio.

- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.

- Able to speak, read and write legible.

- English at an Australian Secondary School standard.

- Previous Pronto (or similar) experience (desirable)

- Basic skills Microsoft Office Suite (desirable)
