The business
An exciting senior opportunity has come up for an experienced People & Culture leader to step into a senior partnering role within a large, complex and highly operational organisation.
Leading an established team of People Business Partners, this role will have genuine influence across a sizeable and diverse workforce. We’re looking for someone who knows what great partnering looks like - commercially minded, credible with senior and operational leaders, strong across ER and able to bring clarity and confidence when navigating complexity.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll take the lead across the People Partnering function, providing direction, coaching and support to your team while ensuring a consistently high standard of partnering across the business.
Working closely with senior and operational leaders, you’ll provide pragmatic advice across complex people matters, organisational change, performance and investigations, while partnering closely with the Workplace Relations team across more complex ER/IR matters.
This is a visible, hands-on leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, influence outcomes and ensure the People function remains connected to what is happening across the business.

About you
You’ll be an experienced People & Culture leader who has led a partnering function or senior partnering team within a large, complex organisation.
Ideally, you’ll bring:





- Leadership experience within a large, operational and unionised workforce
- Solid ER capability, including complex case management, enterprise agreements and Fair Work frameworks
- A pragmatic, commercial approach to People & Culture
- The ability to quickly build credibility with senior and frontline operational leaders
- A confident and considered leadership style, with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing partnering team
- The judgement to know when to lead an issue directly and when to engage specialist Workplace Relations expertise

You do need to be comfortable operating in a complex industrial environment and able to navigate challenging people matters with confidence.

This is a great opportunity for an established People leader looking to step into a substantial role with plenty of scope, complexity and influence.
Requirement of 4 days in the office, 1 from home for this level of role (with some flexibility)
