We are seeking an experienced Educational Leader to join our established and dedicated team. This is a flexible role that will allow you to work both on and off the floor, with the balance shaped around your strengths, effective time management and the needs of the service.

The Role

We are looking for an Educational Leader who is confident in their role, can take ownership of their responsibilities and is excited to bring current ideas, initiatives and perspectives to our service.

You will initially spend time working alongside our educators, room leaders, children and families to develop a strong understanding of our team, our children, families, relationships and day-to-day operations. As you settle into the role, you will work across both floor-based and off-the-floor responsibilities, with time dedicated to planning, documentation, collaboration with the team and quality improvement.

The role will include:

- Leading, implementing and reviewing the Centre’s QIP

- Leading and supporting planning, programming, critical reflection and the planning cycle

- Supporting educators to understand and implement the EYLF

- Providing ongoing mentoring, guidance and constructive feedback to educators





- Working alongside room leaders to strengthen curriculum and educational practice

- Building meaningful partnerships with families around children’s learning and development

- Completing QA1 audits and supporting ongoing quality improvement

- Providing practical, hands-on support and mentoring to educators

- Assisting with Centre events and celebrations

- Managing resource budgets and supporting indoor and outdoor environments and set-ups

About You

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)

- Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and EYLF

- Previous experience in an Educational Leader role

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Excellent organisation and time-management skills

- Positive, motivated and able to inspire others

- Confident working independently and taking initiative

- Bubbly, approachable and comfortable building genuine relationships with children, families and educators
