Monday to Thursday, 10 Hour Shifts, Overtime Available, Temp-to-Perm Opportunities
We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators, Forklift Drivers and Front End Loader Operators to join a busy manufacturing facility in Wacol producing concrete roofing products for the Australian construction industry.
These are ongoing opportunities offering stable hours, long-term work, a 4-day working week and genuine permanent opportunities for the right people.

Pay Rates

- Machine Operators (Mixing & Blending) - $34/hr
- Machine Operators with LF Licence - $36/hr
- Forklift Drivers (Green Drivers Welcome) - $36/hr
- Experienced Forklift Drivers - $39/hr
- Front End Loader Operators with LF Licence - $41/hr

The Roles
Machine Operators - Mixing & Blending

- Mixing and blending raw materials
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Machine setup and adjustments
- Quality checking finished products
- Identifying and reporting defects
- Assisting with production targets
- Manual handling duties
- Daily clean-down and housekeeping activities

Forklift Drivers

- Operating Twin Tyne and 3T to 5T Linde forklifts
- Loading and unloading trucks




- Moving raw materials and finished products
- Replenishing production lines
- Stock movements across site
- Conducting pre-start checks
- General labouring duties as required
- Daily housekeeping and clean-up

Front End Loader Operators

- Operating Front End Loaders
- Loading hoppers and supplying production
- Material handling and stock movements
- Forklift operation as required
- Equipment inspections and reporting
- Housekeeping and cleaning duties

Important:
This is a hands-on manufacturing environment.
All employees are expected to assist with site housekeeping and cleaning duties, which make up approximately 10% of the role. Maintaining a clean and safe workplace is a key part of every position on site.

About You
To be successful you will have:

- Previous manufacturing, production or machine operating experience
- Current LF Forklift Licence (forklift and loader positions)
- Front End Loader experience (loader positions)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and work ethic
- Ability to undertake manual handling tasks
- Good communication skills
- Reliable transport to Wacol
- Ability to work within a team environment

Experience within manufacturing, concrete products, building materials, construction materials, precast, roofing products or heavy industry environments will be highly regarded.
