About the role

The Practice Manager plays a key role in leading the operations of a successful and well-established practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to doctors, patients, and the broader practice team.

The role is responsible for leading a team of more than 10 receptionists and nurses while working closely with over 15 respected and established doctors to support the ongoing success of the practice. The Practice Manager is supported by dedicated 2IC support, enabling a collaborative leadership approach and providing assistance with the day-today management of the practice.

As a hands-on leader, the Practice Manager fosters a positive and collaborative team culture, drives operational excellence, and supports the achievement of practice goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, a growth mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance patience experience, team performance, and business outcomes.

Skills & experience

- Previous leadership experience in a medical practice or healthcare environment.

- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to lead, coach and develop teams.

- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with doctors, patients and key stakeholders.

- Business and financial acumen,



with experience managing practice performance, debtors, banking and reconciliations is highly advantageous.

- Knowledge of Medicare processes and applications is highly desirable.

- Strong problem-solving, planning and organisational skills, with the initiative to identify opportunities and implement practical solutions.
