This role is based at our new state-of-the-art Kemps Creek facility.
THE ROLE
Probiotec Multipack provides an extensive range of co-packing services for Food & Beverage (HACCP), Personal Care & Household, Animal Health & Nutrition (APVMA) and Pharmaceutical (TGA) companies.
Working in the warehouse at our Kemps Creek site, the Warehouse & Despatch Forklift Driver moves stock between production, storage and despatch, loads and unloads trucks, and scans pallets into location.
The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and takes day-to-day direction from the Warehouse Lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and on time.
- Move stock around the warehouse as directed by the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Lead.
- Scan pallets into location, and check and record stock as directed.
- Report damaged or substandard product or packaging on arrival.
- Operate the forklift safely, efficiently and in line with GMP and hygiene requirements.
- Complete forklift pre-start checks and logbook entries to site standard, and report maintenance and WHS issues.
- Move rejects and waste to the appropriate bins.
- Keep the warehouse and work areas clean and tidy.
- Work safely, and report hazards, near misses and incidents.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Current forklift licence (LF).
- Able to read work instructions, labels and safety signage in English, and complete stock records accurately.
- Able to follow instructions and work to direction in a busy despatch area.
- Reliable attendance and punctual.
- Comfortable with manual handling and working at pace on a warehouse floor.
- Works in a clean and tidy manner, and can apply GMP, quality and WHS requirements once trained.
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is an advantage, not essential.
- Warehouse or despatch experience in pharmaceutical, food or FMCG is well regarded.
- Training in our GMP, quality and safety requirements is provided on site.
