Labourforce is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators / Despatch Workers to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Rochedale, QLD.

The site specialises in the storage and distribution of indoor and outdoor tiles, with roles involving forklift operation, stock movement, order preparation, and despatch.

We are recruiting for hands-on warehouse and despatch roles requiring a current LF Forklift Licence and previous experience within warehouse, transport, or distribution environments.

Yard Forklift Operator / Despatch

Working within a busy tile distribution yard, you will be responsible for the safe movement, preparation, and despatch of indoor and outdoor tiles.

Key Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts
- Moving and positioning indoor and outdoor tiles throughout the yard and warehouse
- Preparing and staging stock for outbound deliveries
- Picking, checking,



and preparing customer orders for despatch
- Coordinating freight movements and ensuring orders are despatch-ready
- Completing despatch documentation, manifests, and consignment paperwork
- Booking freight and liaising with transport providers where required
- Conducting stock checks and ensuring accurate inventory movement
- Ensuring outbound orders are accurately labelled and scanned
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse/despatch area
- Assisting with general warehouse and manual handling duties as required

Essential Requirements

Current Forklift (LF) Licence – Essential
Previous forklift operating experience
Experience within warehouse, yard, despatch, or distribution environments
Previous despatch or transport coordination experience highly regarded
Ability to complete manual handling duties
Robust attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork/orders
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
Comfortable working in fast-paced warehouse operations
