We are seeking an experienced
HSEQ Lead
to oversee HSEQ performance across
Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW
.
This is a senior leadership role where you will lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors while partnering with Project Managers and senior leaders to drive HSEQ performance, culture and continuous improvement.
The Role
Lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors across NSW
Drive HSEQ, risk, quality and environmental performance across projects
Conduct site inspections, audits and incident investigations
Identify trends and implement targeted improvement initiatives
Support compliance with ISO , ISO and ISO
Partner with project teams and senior management to drive positive safety culture
Provide guidance across risk assessments, SWMS, HSEQ plans and tenders
Travel across Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW as required
About You




Previous experience in an HSEQ leadership role within construction, remediation or a high-risk environment
Solid knowledge of HSEQ legislation, compliance and management systems
Robust risk management and audit experience
Proven ability to lead, influence and drive change
Understanding of Quality and Environmental Management Systems
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Willingness to travel throughout NSW
Highly regarded:
Tier 1 - 2 construction, multistorey/CBD, remediation, fuel, concrete/steel remediation, Defence and
OFSC
experience.
