Outside Ideas is looking for a Senior Project Engineer ready to take on greater responsibility across significant civil projects while continuing to develop towards Project Management.

n

With capability spanning civil construction, structural concreting and large-scale landscaping, you will join a business where people are supported to develop and given greater opportunities as the company grows.

The Rolen

As Senior Project Engineer, you will take a leading role across the technical and operational delivery of civil projects while working closely with experienced Project Managers and site teams.

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Leading engineering activities across all stages of project delivery
n
- Coordinating site teams,



subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
n
- Managing project programmes and supporting commercial outcomesEnsuring compliance with design, specifications and safety requirements
n
- Driving Quality Assurance and WHS processes
n
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and delivery partners
n
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
n
- Taking on increasing project responsibility as you progress towards Project Management
n

You will be an experienced Civil Engineer ready for greater project ownership and a clear next step in your career.

Ideally, you will bring:

n

n
- Relevant Civil Engineering qualifications
n
- Senior Project Engineer experience within civil infrastructure
n
- Strong technical and project delivery capability
n
- Commercial awareness and understanding of project outcomes
n
- Confidence coordinating subcontractors and site teams
n
- Strong client and stakeholder communication
n
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior engineers
n
- Genuine ambition to progress into a Project Manager role
n
