The Role

n

As we accelerate our growth trajectory, we need a sharp, technically brilliant Senior Financial Accountant to own our statutory reporting, safeguard our financial controls, and keep our ASX compliance running like clockwork.

What you'll do

n

n
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, disclosures and technical accounting papers under Australian Accounting Standards.
n
- Prepare the finance inputs for Appendix 4C, 4D, 4E and other ASX financial reporting requirements.
n
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audit schedules, supporting documentation and audit queries.
n
- Deliver the Group's tax and finance compliance requirements, working with external advisers where needed.
n
- Execute the detailed month-end and year-end close,



including general ledger integrity, group consolidations and supporting schedules.
n
- Prepare and review key balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and ensure outstanding items are resolved.
n
- Support cash-flow forecasting and working-capital reporting through accurate financial data and analysis.
n
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls, accounting policies and month-end processes.
n
- Support the Finance leadership team on technical accounting, statutory reporting and other finance initiatives.

Who You Are

n

n
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
n
- Strong external audit, technical accounting or financial reporting background.
n
- Experience preparing statutory financial statements.
n
- Strong month-end, balance sheet reconciliation and financial control capability.
n
- Technology, subscription or marketplace experience preferred.
n
- Strong Excel and finance systems capability.
n
- Explicit written and verbal communication.
n
- 5+ years' relevant accounting experience.
n

- ASX-listed reporting experience, either in industry or through external audit.
n
- Exposure to PropTech, real estate, or B2B SaaS selling to SMBs/franchises.
n
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
n
- Experience marketing across multiple geographies and time zones.
