Production Coordinator – Schoolwear, Melbourne | Full-time | Garment Production

We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join an established and growing schoolwear business. This is a hands‐on role coordinating garment production from pre‐production samples through to bulk delivery, working closely with overseas suppliers and internal sales teams.

The role

- Manage a high volume of production orders and pre‐production samples annually
n
- Coordinate production across an approved supplier base in China and Vietnam
n
- Review production documentation, approvals, pricing and supplier allocations
n
- Monitor production milestones, identify risks and proactively manage delivery timelines
n
- Coordinate seasonal, high-volume production cycles
n
- Build robust relationships with overseas suppliers and internal sales teams
n
- Assist with quality issues, replenishment orders and freight coordination
n




- Contribute to improving production processes, systems and workflow consistency
n

About you

n

n
- Previous experience in garment production
n
- Direct experience in schoolwear or uniform manufacturing
n
- Strong understanding of the end‐to‐end garment production lifecycle
n
- Experience managing pre‐production samples and bulk production orders
n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
n
- Confident managing multiple orders and competing deadlines
n
- Clear, calm and proactive communication style
n
- Fluent Chinese or Vietnamese would be highly regarded
n
