About the Role

Working within a dedicated team of turf professionals, you'll oversee the preparation, maintenance, and renovation of cricket pitches and surrounding turf to meet the highest standards of playability and presentation.

You'll:

- Prepare and maintain turf wickets and practice facilities to competition and event standards.
- Conduct pitch preparation, rolling, watering, mowing, scarifying, and topdressing schedules.
- Manage soil profiles, moisture levels, and turf health for consistent performance.
- Operate and maintain turf and wicket-specific machinery.
- Assist with outfield maintenance, irrigation management, and seasonal renovation.
- Work collaboratively to plan schedules around weather, fixtures, and turf cycles.
- Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

- Certificate III (or higher) in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualification.




- Demonstrated experience in cricket wicket preparation and turf curation.
- Strong understanding of turf agronomy, irrigation, soil management, and seasonal cycles.
- A proactive, safety-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Current driver's licence (MR licence desirable).
- White Card (desirable).
- Genuine pride in producing premium playing surfaces.
