Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the design, delivery, and operation of enterprise network infrastructure within a large, complex utility setting.

Working as part of a high-performing infrastructure team, you will play a key role in delivering network upgrades, supporting critical operational systems, and driving network performance, security, and reliability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall environments
- Manage Cisco switching, routing, VPN, and network security technologies
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues
- Work closely with infrastructure teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to deliver enterprise network solutions
- Maintain network documentation, standards,



and operational procedures
- Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for complex network incidents

Key Requirements

- 5+ years' experience as a Network Engineer within large enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise network projects
- Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, network security, and intrusion detection/prevention technologies
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise network environments
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP highly regarded
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
