An established and well-regarded commercial builder is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of a $20M+ project in Melbourne's western suburbs. This is a genuine opportunity to join a secure business with a strong pipeline and work on a technically interesting project from commencement through to completion.

The Role
n
You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client to ensure the project is delivered safely, to a high standard and on programme.

You'll be responsible for:
n
n
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades
n
- Driving programme and construction sequencing
n
- Maintaining quality and OH&S; standards
n
- Coordinating consultants and resolving site issues
n
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
n
- Managing site documentation and reportingMaintaining strong client relationships
n
- Holding subcontractors accountable and ensuring works remain on programme
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone with:
n
n
- 5+ years' Site Supervisor experience – ideally 8–10+ years
n
- Experience delivering $20M+ commercial projects
n
- Strong technical construction knowledge
n
- A trade background, ideally carpentry
n
- Experience with complex commercial construction
n
- Ideally education, community, health or similar project experience
n
- Experience with basements and/or complex structural works
n
- Strong subcontractor management skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A stable employment history and genuine interest in long-term opportunities
n
n
This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to tick boxes. We're looking for a technically strong Supervisor who can take ownership, make decisions, push subcontractors when required and keep a project moving.
