Concrete Remediation Labourer

Job Brief

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Concrete Remediation Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will perform site preparation, handle demolition tools, and assist with specialized structural repairs. The ideal candidate takes pride in hard work, operates power tools safely, and strictly follows workplace safety rules.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspection: Inspect concrete structures for cracks, spalling, and other physical defects.

- Site Setup: Setup work areas with proper barricades, signage, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Demolition: Grind, cut, chip, and remove damaged concrete sections safely.

- Surface Preparation: Clean concrete surfaces using grinders, pressure washers, and abrasive tools.

- Patching & Repair: Patch minor defects with mortars, hardeners, and topping compounds.

- Specialized Remediation: Perform crack injections, epoxy applications, and concrete replacement.





- Finishing: Apply protective coatings, sealers, and waterproofing membranes.

- Tool Operation: Operate heavy tools including grinders, jackhammers, saws, mixers, and injection pumps.

- Safety Compliance: Follow manufacturer specifications closely and maintain strict WHS compliance at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Proven experience as a construction labourer, ideally within concrete, civil, or remedial construction.

- Hands-on experience operating jackhammers, concrete saws, grinders, and mixers.

- Familiarity with concrete repair materials like epoxies, mortars, and sealers.

- Excellent physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy loads and work on your feet.

- A solid commitment to safety and knowledge of basic WHS site rules.

- Valid Construction White Card (or local equivalent safety ticket).
