Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Tool Maker to join our dynamic and growing team. This technical, niche position is responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing specialized manufacturing infrastructure—such as tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures—used across the production lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture, repair, alter, and modify high-precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.

- Operate a broad mix of manual and conventional workshop machinery alongside CNC tooling, including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and cylindrical grinders.

- Read and interpret specialized engineering blueprints and tool design layouts with microscopic attention to detail.





- Conduct detailed tool inspections using specialized measuring instruments to ensure all tooling components meet required micro-tolerances.

- Collaborate closely with production staff and engineering teams to identify areas for continuous improvement in production tooling and manufacturing processes.

- Adhere strictly to safe work practices and comply with all company Workplace Health and Safety policies.

Candidate Requirements

- Trade Qualification: Dedicated trade qualification in Tool Making or a highly relevant equivalent.

- Precision Machining Background: Proven experience in dedicated toolmaking environments, tool-and-die repair, or ultra-precision machining.

- Machinery Breadth: Deep technical understanding of both conventional manual machining and CNC operations, specifically including precision grinding.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a high commitment to micro-precision, safety, and teamwork.
