The role

Studio POMPOM is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design studio built on hard work, valuable taste, and a low tolerance for boring. We're an ambitious studio working across brand, identity, campaign, web and production.

We're looking for an Account Manager / Producer to help run our projects from first brief to final delivery, and to grow into being the person our clients pick up the phone to.

You'll work closely with the founders and our creative team. You'll keep timelines, budgets and client comms on track, book suppliers and crew, and make sure the work leaves the studio on time and at the highest standards.

You don't need to know everything, just have a curiosity for new things, a willingness to be in service to our clients, and want to work somewhere that strives to create the best work possible.

The work is varied and exciting, working across industries and outputs. You'll wear a lot of different hats, often in the same day.

What you'll do

- Help run projects end to end. Brief, scope, schedule, deliver.
- Be a day-to-day contact for clients. Sit in on meetings, present work, manage feedback and keep everyone on the same page.
- Produce. Book photographers, videographers, printers and specialists. Help manage shoots and print runs.




- Work alongside our creative team to keep the work moving and the quality high.
- Use AI tools as part of how the studio works, and help us keep exploring what they can do.
- Spot potential problems early and flag them before they become problems.

Who you are

- Ambitious, proactive and eager to learn. You'd rather ask what's next than wait to be told.
- At least a year of experience in a design studio, marketing agency or video production, or a sharp graduate who's ready to get their teeth stuck into something new. What matters more is that you're organised, curious and hungry to learn.
- AI native, you're curious about it, and you're up for experimenting.
- Comfortable with people. You can hold a conversation with a client and you're not afraid of the phone.
- An all rounder who enjoys diversity and being challenged.
- You love design and culture. You want to make things that excite you and that you're proud to see out in the world.
- You want to work in a studio, around people, in a dynamic environment.
- You have a low tolerance for boring.

The details

Contract to start, with a path to permanent. Open to part time. Based in our Melbourne studio.
