ADAS Quality Engineer

QR_ is currently expending its activity in Australia and we are looking for a ADAS Quality Engineer join our Geelong team.

Responsibilities:

- Lead investigation and resolution of ADAS quality, diagnostic and warranty concerns
- Use vehicle data, diagnostic tools and testing to identify root cause and validate fixes
- Support ADAS feature validation, data-collection drives and quality improvement projects
- Manage issues and progress reporting through JIRA and related engineering systems
- Work with client engineering, customer-service and dealer-support teams to improve service outcomes
- Provide diagnostic guidance and support the release of dealer technical documentation

Must have:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent of 5 years of automotive engineering experience
- Currently holds or able to obtain within a reasonable amount of time a Tier 2 Driver Certification with towing (or equivalent)
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with Driver Assistance technologies and sensors: camera, radar, ultrasonics, sensor fusion and image processing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with automated test systems, vehicle data collection or ADAS validation
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence or comparable defect-management tools




- Experience interpreting software logs or C/C / Java code
- Familiarity with CAN, XCP, TCP/UDP, CANalyzer or Wireshark

Nice to have:

- Tier 3 Driver Certification (or equivalent) for high-speed tests
- Experience teaching or mentoring
