ADMS / PowerOn Advantage Specialist

We are seeking an experienced ADMS professional with deep hands-on expertise in PowerOn Advantage version 6.10.4 for an urgent 6-month contract role (with strong possibility of extension) within a major electricity distribution setting.

This role sits within a critical operational transformation program delivering enhancements across ADMS modelling, network visibility, and operational decision support. There is a strong likelihood of extension based on program pipeline and ongoing platform uplift activities.

Key Project Streams

ME0006152 – Conflicting Jobs

Configuration and optimisation of:

- Tracing
- Appearances & Symbology (including configuration alignment)
- System Parameters
- Job Lifecycle management
- Processing workflows and operational handling

ME0006154 – Load Flow

Advanced network modelling and configuration including:
- EMS Classes (review and CitiPower alignment)
- DPA Static Attributes
- DPA Dynamic Attributes
- Busbar modelling
- Superior Infeed configuration
- Feeder Equivalent Component placement on network diagrams
- DPA Cable Codes for conductors

ME0006234 – Distance to Fault

Configuration, scripting, and validation work covering:
- Symbol configuration
- System Parameters
- Equipment Property Configuration & menu functions
- Scripting development/support
- Attribute verification and data integrity checks





What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with PowerOn Advantage (v6.10.4)
- Proven background in electricity distribution ADMS/EMS environments
- Solid expertise in:
- Load Flow configuration
- DPA modelling (static & dynamic attributes)
- Tracing and switching logic
- Symbology and UI configuration
- System parameter management
- Job lifecycle configuration
- Scripting and attribute validation

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in live operational systems

Highly Desirable

- Experience in utility control room or operational environments
- Exposure to outage management and network operations
- Prior work on ADMS transformation or enhancement programs
