El Mexicano is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Barista & All-Rounder to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, making quality coffee, and supporting the smooth running of a busy hospitality venue.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve quality coffee, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and other beverages.
- Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Prepare and serve food and drinks according to venue standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, dining, and service areas.
- Operate the coffee machine, grinder, and other café equipment safely.
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
- Restock coffee, beverages, food items, and other supplies.




- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work efficiently as part of a team during busy periods.

About You:

- Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred.
- Confident using a coffee machine and preparing quality coffee.
- Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused.
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Versatile availability, including weekends and evenings.
- Willing to assist across different areas of the venue as needed.

Pay: $27.50 – $48.41 per hour
