We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Casual Nursing Pool. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking for flexible shifts while working within a supportive and qualified healthcare environment.
CCLHD is specifically looking for RNs to work in the inpatients units in medical, surgical, aged care and mental health with a minimum of 2 shifts per month requirement.
About The Role
As a Casual Pool Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care across a range of clinical settings and shifts. You will work collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure protected and effective care.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Delivering safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with skilled standards.
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
- Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and handover.
- Working collaboratively with medical, allied health and support teams.
- Promoting a positive patient experience and maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.

About You
We are looking for Registered Nurses who have:
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position speciality, with a demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication skills, including the ability to use information technology effectively and communicate with sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise your workload effectively in a dynamic clinical environment.
- Personal attributes including resilience, integrity, accountability and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
