Cafe located in Essendon North is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef / Cook to join our busy café on a full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking a variety of café-style meals including breakfast, burgers, brunch dishes, salads, and other menu items
- Assisting with menu planning and development
- Monitoring food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Managing kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Ordering and monitoring stock and kitchen supplies
- Supervising and assisting kitchen staff as required

Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience as a Cook / Chef
- Strong knowledge of modern café cuisine
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
