Teaching Service Position Information Caringbah High School is located in the southern suburbs of Sydney and is an academically selective, coeducational high school with over 900 students from Years 7–12. The school has a proud tradition of academic excellence, with students consistently achieving outstanding Higher School Certificate results.

Specific Selection Criteria In addition to the general selection criteria,
- Highly visible and approachable leader with outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to lead, inspire and motivate a high achieving school community.
- Demonstrated ability to improve student outcomes through innovative curriculum leadership and evidence-informed practice, including leading whole-school initiatives in High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE), acceleration, neurodiverse learning and enrichment.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead and develop staff through high-impact professional learning and innovative, evidence-informed practices that strengthen teaching quality, improve student learning outcomes and foster a culture of high expectations.
- Demonstrated capacity to use data and evidence to identify priorities, monitor progress and drive strategic improvement in student learning, wellbeing, engagement and achievement.
General Selection Criteria 1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
- Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
- Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
