- Use your mechanical knowledge and contemporary equipment to diagnose faults in an array of different type of earthmoving equipment.
- Conduct and meet scheduled maintenance expectations to maximize the lifespan and useability of our equipment.
- Repair, overhaul, tune and test different areas of the fleet in a professional and timely manner.
- Develop a strong understanding of our Truck and Trailer fleet and meet maintenance requirements.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic components of diesel, petrol and gas engines that are used to power a selection of attachments.
- Utilise Oxy, Electric, TIG and MIG welding, hand fitting or alternative machinery processes to replace or repair faulty parts.
- Contribute to a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards, championing a clean workshop and participate in work health and safety discussions.
- Undertaking field servicing and repairs across multiple civil construction project sites, including travel to remote locations.
- Complete relevant documentation required to record machinery inspection, repairs and services to the industry standard.
- Take ownership and control of your working week, plan and work with the workshop team to ensure optimal efficiency.





- Australian heavy vehicle trade qualification or overseas equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Ability to utilise specific instruments to detect mechanical and electrical faults
- Strong understanding of earthmoving equipment, truck and trailer, and other specialised equipment vital to our industry.
- Proficient in delivery a wide range of servicing and repairs
- Current drivers licence, own transport & ability to travel away for work on occasion
- Safety orientated and ability to contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Willingness to follow safe work guidelines and wear the correct PPE
