Darling Daughters is expanding our team across Melbourne and is seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers who are committed to delivering safe, respectful and person-centred care.

CURRENT RECRUITMENT AREAS

Northern Melbourne: Epping, South Morang, Mill Park, Bundoora, Thomastown, Lalor, Reservoir, Preston and surrounding suburbs

North-East Melbourne: Heidelberg, Heidelberg Heights, Ivanhoe, Rosanna, Macleod, Greensborough, Doncaster and surrounding suburbs

Inner East: Kew, Hawthorn, Camberwell, Balwyn, Toorak, South Yarra and surrounding suburbs

Western Melbourne: Point Cook, Werribee, Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Truganina, Williams Landing, Altona, Laverton, Sunshine, St Albans, Footscray, Essendon and surrounding suburbs

South-East Melbourne: Dandenong, Springvale, Noble Park, Keysborough, Clayton, Glen Waverley, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and surrounding suburbs

Melbourne CBD & Inner Melbourne

WE PARTICULARLY WANT TO HEAR FROM WORKERS WITH EXPERIENCE IN:

- PEG feeding and enteral nutrition support
- Mental health and psychosocial disability
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD and neurodivergent support
- Complex and high-support needs
- Positive behaviour support
- Personal care and continence support
- Manual handling and mobility assistance
- Community access and capacity building

Applicants providing complex supports such as PEG feeding must have appropriate training, demonstrated competency and experience relevant to the participant’s individual support needs and care plan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO





- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Community access and social support
- Meal preparation and domestic assistance
- Medication support within your training, authorisation and scope
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Transport to appointments and community activities
- Follow individual support plans and behaviour support plans
- Complete accurate case notes and progress notes
- Support participants to build independence and achieve their goals

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or equivalent
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates (HLTAID009/0011)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check where required
- Current Victorian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Professional, dependable and person-centred approach
