We support a range of participants both in group homes and in community settings, providing cares from low to high-complex care needs.

About the Role

- Vacancy for day shifts (0600 to 1600)
- Vacancy for afternoon/evening shifts (1400 to 2200)
- Vacancy for 1:1 Community Shifts with versatile times
- Personal Care: Assisting with hygiene, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Meal Preparation and Feeding: Preparing meals and assisting with eating if needed.
- Medical: Medication Administration, supporting attendance to medical appointments and allied health. Conduct regular checks to ensure health and well being.
- Skill Development: Helping with daily living skills, such as cooking, planning or budgeting. Encouraging independence through community-based skill-building activities (e.g., shopping, using public transport).
- Social Participation: Assistance with attending events, clubs, or gatherings to support social interaction.
- Transport: Support with transportation to appointments,



activities, or errands.
- Recreational Activities: Supporting engagement in hobbies, sports, or cultural activities that align with participants’ interests and goals.
- Advocacy: Supporting participants in communicating their needs and accessing community services
- Inclusion: Promoting active participation in the community.

The successful applicant will have:

- Minimum Certificate IV Disability or relevant industry qualification with relevant demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated capacity to supervise others in a personable and professional manner andmanage conflicts.
- Experience or genuine interest in acquired brain injury, physical and intellectual disabilities.
- Capacity to manage and plan their own work and that of subordinate staff or volunteers,including progress notes, medications and incident reporting.
- Ability to undertake planning and coordination of activities including the day-to-dayoperations of a group of residential facilities for people with a disability.
- Capacity to use information technology such as word processing software and caremanagement software such as the Deputy mobile application.

Essential Criteria:

- First Aid certificate with current CPR
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current NSW Driver Licence with comprehensive car insurance
- Minimum Certificate IV Disability or relevant industry qualification with relevant demonstrated experience
- 100 Points valid identification

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

- working with individuals with disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)
