GUIDE DISABILITY SUPPORT
NOW HIRING – DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS Gawler & Elizabeth | Supported Accommodation (SIL)
Are you an experienced, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker looking for regular rostered shifts?
Guide Disability Support is currently recruiting for two supported accommodation (SIL) services in the Gawler and Elizabeth areas.
We are looking for honest, dependable workers who are committed to providing consistent, respectful and person-centred support.
POSITION 1 – GAWLER AREA
High & Complex Support
This role involves supporting a participant with high and complex support needs.
Experience in areas such as high-support disability care, personal care, medication support and complex daily support needs will be highly regarded.
POSITION 2 – ELIZABETH AREA
Behaviour Support
This role involves supporting a participant with moderate to high behavioural support needs.
Experience working with behaviours of concern, Positive Behaviour Support Plans and providing calm, consistent support will be highly regarded.
PAY & HOURS
- Casual positions with regular rostered shifts
- Classification between SCHADS Level 2.4 and Level 3.1, depending on experience, qualifications and suitability
- Approximately 20–40 hours per fortnight
- Additional hours may be available depending on availability and service requirements
- Rosters may include day, afternoon, weekend and passive night shifts
- Passive night allowance is approximately $130 per night, paid in addition to applicable SCHADS Award wages

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants will need to have, or be willing to obtain where applicable:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current driver’s licence
- Relevant disability support experience
- Appropriate training and competencies for the participant’s individual support needs
Additional participant-specific training will be provided by Guide Disability Support where required, based on the individual needs of the participant.
Previous experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL) is highly regarded.
