Experienced Female Disability Support Worker – Taigum

Jasper Care Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to provide quality support to clients located in Taigum, Brisbane Northside.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, respectful, professional and genuinely passionate about supporting people with disability to live safely, independently and with dignity.

About the Role The successful applicant will provide person-centred support based on each participant’s individual needs and goals. Duties may include:

- Personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing and grooming
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Community access and social participation
- Domestic assistance and household tasks
- Meal preparation
- Supporting participants with mobility and transfers where required
- Following individual support plans and risk management procedures
- Completing progress notes and required documentation
- Providing respectful, professional and reliable support

Applicants must be comfortable and experienced in providing personal care.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain where applicable:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check / Blue Card where required
- National Police Check




- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
- Current Australian working rights
- Ability to complete NDIS-compliant progress notes and documentation
- Experience supporting people with disability
- Experience and confidence providing personal care
- Positive communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude
