About the role

We are seeking skilled, reliable and compassionate disability support workers to support two neurodivergent children in the Warilla area.

The successful applicants will provide safe, consistent and person-centred support tailored to each child’s individual needs, strengths, routines and goals. This role requires patience, initiative and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with the children and their family.

Key responsibilities

- Provide individualised support to two neurodivergent children.
- Assist with daily routines, skill development and community participation.
- Follow established care plans, behaviour-support strategies and family routines.
- Support emotional regulation using calm, respectful and child-centred approaches.
- Encourage independence, confidence and social engagement.
- Communicate effectively with the children, family and support team.
- Maintain accurate case notes and report any concerns promptly.
- Follow all safeguarding, privacy, incident-reporting and workplace procedures.

Mandatory requirements

Applicants must have

- A minimum Certificate III qualification in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, Education Support or another relevant field.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- A current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Evidence of required NDIS worker orientation training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to complete transparent, accurate and timely case notes.
- A professional,



reliable and respectful approach.
- The legal right to work in Australia.

A current driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle may be required for community-based support.

Preferred experience

- Experience supporting neurodivergent children.
- An understanding of autism, ADHD, sensory needs and emotional regulation.
- Experience implementing positive behaviour-support strategies.
- Training in trauma-informed care, medication support or behaviour support.
- The ability to work collaboratively with families and allied-health professionals.

Pay: $26.44 – $57.19 per hour
