Duty Manager

Lead the shift. Support the team. Create an outstanding guest experience.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Duty Manager to join our team and help oversee the smooth operation of our fast-paced arcade and entertainment venue.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is confident managing a busy venue and team.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A minimum of 5 years of proven managerial experience
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to confidently lead a team during busy periods
- A hands-on, proactive approach to venue operations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work both weekday and weekend shifts
- Availability across a range of operating hours
- A positive, professional attitude and robust work ethic

Previous experience in arcade, entertainment, hospitality, leisure, or other customer-focused environments will be highly regarded.

About the Role

As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring each shift runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include

- Taking responsibility for the venue during your allocated shifts
- Leading, supervising, and supporting team members
- Ensuring excellent customer service throughout the venue




- Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting staff with day-to-day operational requirements
- Monitoring venue presentation, cleanliness, and safety
- Ensuring opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
- Assisting with staff performance, training, and coaching
- Monitoring arcade and entertainment areas throughout the shift
- Supporting stock and operational requirements
- Escalating significant issues to senior management when required
- Helping create a fun, safe, welcoming, and energetic environment for our guests

You should be someone who can lead by example, make decisions under pressure, communicate effectively with both staff and customers, and keep the venue running smoothly even during busy periods.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
