‘event essentials’ established in 1999 is a well-recognised top tier equipment and service supplier within the Australian event industry. We’re a small boutique team delivering considered, highly polished experiences for a mainly corporate clientele.

Our work spans premium sporting events, brand activations, film premieres, corporate functions and bespoke experiences, often with some of countries best event producers.

We pride ourselves on the details that guests may never notice — seamless logistics, impeccable presentation, calm execution and a team that understands that exceptional events are built from the ground up.

As part of our operations crew, you'll work alongside an experienced team and be exposed to a diverse range of high-end events where professionalism, discretion and attention to detail are essential.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, switched-on and hands-on Event Operations Crew to assist with the delivery of our events from setup through to pack-down.

This is a practical, behind-the-scenes role for someone who takes pride in doing things properly. You'll be trusted to help create beautifully presented event spaces, manage equipment and logistics, and support the wider team in delivering a seamless experience for our clients and their guests.

No two events are quite the same, so we're looking for people who are adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where the finer details matter.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with the setup and pack-down of premium events and bespoke experiences.

· Prepare venues in accordance with detailed floor plans, production schedules and event briefs.

· Handle, move and position event equipment, carpets, lighting, signage and infrastructure with care.

· Assist with loading,



unloading, deliveries and event logistics.

· Support event managers, producers and senior crew throughout event operations.

· Maintain impeccable presentation of event spaces before and throughout each event.

· Assist with the smooth movement of equipment, stock and materials between storage, vehicles and venues.

· Liaise professionally with venue teams, suppliers, contractors and colleagues.

· Identify and proactively resolve minor operational issues where appropriate.

· Maintain a clean, organised and productive working workplace.

· Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and venue requirements.

· Represent the business with professionalism, discretion and a consistently positive attitude.

About You

You may have experience in events, venue operations, logistics, production or a similar environment — but we're equally interested in people with the right attitude and work ethic.

We're looking for someone who is:

· Reliable and punctual, our events operate to precise schedules.

· A permanent resident, with full working rights

· Has a manual licence, with at least five years driving experience and are confident to drive Vans/ Trucks up to three tonne often around the CBD. A forklift licence would be an advantage.

· Well-presented and professional, you understand that you are part of the client experience.

· Are physically fit and have a clean record, you must be able to pass a pre-employment medical. A police check, working with children’s check as well as random drug testing.





· Hands-on and practical — you're not afraid to get stuck in, and are capable of regular heavy lifting (carpets).

· Detail-oriented — you notice when something is out of place and take pride in getting it right.

· Calm under pressure — you can work efficiently when timelines are tight.

· Discreet and respectful — our team regularly works around high-profile clients, guests and event professionals.

· A strong team player — you understand that exceptional events are a collective effort.

· Flexible and adaptable — evenings, weekends, early starts and late finishes are part of event life.

Previous experience in premium events is highly regarded, as is a genuine interest in event logistics and creating exceptional guest experiences.

We have casual, part-time and full-time roles available. This is an opportunity to join a boutique events business operating at the higher end of the market, working across a carefully curated portfolio of events and clients.

You'll be part of a team where standards are high, the work is varied and the details genuinely matter. For the right person, there is scope to develop within the business and build experience across event operations, production and delivery.

Availability The nature of our work means flexibility is important. Availability for evenings, weekends, public holidays and early morning starts will be required depending on the event schedule.

Remuneration

Casual rates/ Salary or Salary packages dependent on roles/ experience and skills.
