The Role

We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of Brennan’s in-person and virtual events. From customer roundtables and conferences to internal events and webinars, you’ll manage a varied calendar designed to build relationships, strengthen our brand and support business growth.

You’ll be organised, resourceful and comfortable working in a high-volume events environment, typically delivering an event every two to three weeks while managing multiple events at different stages of planning. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to keep every detail on track, on brand and on budget.

The role is based at our Barangaroo headquarters three days a week, with some travel and occasional out-of-hours work required.

What you’ll own

Event planning

- Plan, organise and deliver Brennan’s face-to-face and virtual events, from webinars, company all-hands and conferences to roundtables, lunches, dinners, sporting and experience-based events.

- Own the Brennan events calendar, making sure activity is planned, prioritised and aligned to the go-to-market strategy.
- Work with stakeholders to turn event briefs into clear plans, timelines and actions that keep delivery moving.

Event delivery and logistics
- Own timelines and logistics from start to finish, keeping every event on track, on brand and on budget.
- Source venues, merchandise, giveaways and gifts that suit the audience, event type and Brennan brand.
- Manage suppliers, negotiate contracts and maintain the supplier and venue directory so Brennan gets the best outcome.

Stakeholder and sales alignment
- Work with the Customer Team to coordinate invites, drive RSVPs and support audience attendance targets.
- Manage internal stakeholders, including pre-event briefings, presenter coordination and supporting event communications.
- Support state-based event activity to ensure they are delivered professionally and consistently across locations.

Communications and brand experience
- Work with the marketing Manager to produce event communications that are clear, timely and suited to the audience.
- Make sure every event reflects Brennan’s brand, from the customer experience through to presentation, merchandise and follow-up.
- Manage the events mailbox and keep event-related communication organised and responsive.

Reporting and continuous improvement
- Report on event performance, including attendance, engagement, lead capture and key learnings.

- Turn post-event insights into practical recommendations that improve future event planning and delivery.
- Keep across event and conference trends and bring relevant ideas into how Brennan shows up in market.

Working alongside AI tools
- Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to speed up event planning, research, content drafting and post-event reporting.
- Apply AI responsibly to improve efficiency without compromising accuracy, brand quality or the human detail needed for great events.

What early success looks like
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales and the broader business.
- Take ownership of the events calendar and confidently manage multiple events at different stages of delivery.
- Deliver events smoothly, on brand, on budget and in line with attendance and business objectives.
- Establish clear planning, supplier management and post-event reporting processes.
- Use event insights and feedback to identify practical improvements for future activity.

Your skills and experience

- 5+ years’ experience planning and delivering high-volume in-person and virtual events.
- A resourceful, proactive approach, with the ability to turn an event brief into a clear and accurate plan quickly.
- Robust organisation and multitasking skills, with confidence managing multiple events and priorities at once.
