The Opportunity:

At Paper Crane, every dining experience is an opportunity to surprise, delight and connect. As a Food and Beverage Attendant (Section Waiter), you will take ownership of your section and deliver warm, attentive and polished service throughout each guest’s dining experience.

From welcoming guests and confidently guiding them through the menu to taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen and ensuring each table is thoughtfully looked after, you will bring pace, precision and genuine personality to every service.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will work closely with our collaborative Food and Beverage team to prepare the restaurant for service, process orders and payments and maintain a welcoming, beautifully presented dining environment. You will anticipate guest needs, communicate confidently with the wider team and help each service flow seamlessly from beginning to end.





This is a permanent part-time position offering approximately 8–18 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours based on operational requirements and availability. The role involves working across a seven-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

The Talent:

You are a confident and engaging hospitality professional who enjoys taking ownership of a section and creating memorable dining experiences. You are comfortable working at pace, can manage multiple tables with care and precision and know how to balance polished service with a warm, natural approach.

- Previous experience managing your own section in a restaurant or high-quality dining environment
- Confidence taking orders, making menu recommendations and coordinating the guest journey from arrival through to payment
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, with an interest in continuing to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, qualified manner
- Ability to remain organised, attentive and composed during busy services
- Immaculate personal presentation and strong attention to detail
- Current QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- Availability to work across a seven-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
