Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our renewable energy projects. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial management, while leading a team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively oversee the half-year and year-end reporting process to meet external and internal financial reporting requirements while driving excellence and accuracy.
- Direct the review of detailed external reporting packs provided in half-year and year-end reporting.
- Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting reporting processes, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project financial performance and reporting requirements.
About You
You will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Robust understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing talent and fostering collaboration.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
