About the role

NABI HAIR BY JENNY PTY LTD is seeking an energetic, motivated and experienced Hairdresser to join our busy salon in Strathfield.

The successful applicant will have a genuine passion for hairdressing, excellent customer service skills and a positive and professional attitude. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an opportunity to build a long-term career within a friendly and supportive salon environment.

Key responsibilities

-Consult with clients regarding hairstyles, colours and hair treatments.

-Cut, style, colour, bleach, straighten and permanently wave hair.

-Perform balayage, foilayage, foiling, blonding and colour-correction services.

-Shampoo, condition and treat clients’ hair and scalps.

-Recommend suitable hairstyles, hair treatments and haircare products.

-Apply hair extensions where required.

-Maintain client records and appointment bookings.

-Answer telephone enquiries and provide excellent customer service.

-Clean and sanitise tools, equipment and work areas.





-Manage time effectively and work independently and as part of a team.

-Maintain a skilled appearance and comply with salon health and safety procedures.

Required qualifications and experience

-A relevant trade qualification in hairdressing.

-At least two years of relevant hairdressing experience.

-Strong cutting, colouring and hairstyling skills.

-Demonstrated experience in balayage, foilayage, foiling, blonding and colour correction.

-Excellent communication and customer service skills.

-Good punctuality, reliability and attention to detail.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Hair-extension experience is desirable but not essential.
